Bringing together the Gay & Lesbian Association of Doctors and Dentists, the Royal College of Nursing LGBT National Network and OUT Group and the Department of Health LGBT Staff Group PRISM, this years float in Pride will be celebrating 60yrs of LGBT professionals contribution to the National Health Service. 

The float is being developed with support from the Department of Health. 

The NHS employs around 1.3 million people, it is estimated that six per cent of the UK population is LGBT, it is therefore likely that 156,000 employees working for the NHS are lesbian, gay or bisexual and/or trans.
